No Beauty School Drop-Out
So today I finally got a hair cut after almost 5 months.
Am I lazy? No, just picky. Despite the fact that I do nothing with my hair at the moment (quick updo), I love a good haircut and won't go to just anyone. My loyalties lie in Toronto stylists and the hair cuts in Silicon Valley start at $60. The cuts in SF START at $85. What the heck?! I'm not going to spend that kind of money on someone I don't even know just to test them out.
Thankfully, I found out that the SF Aesthetic whatever school is 2 blocks down the street from DHQ. WOOT! Guess how much I paid for an awesome haircut today? $20. That's the deal of the century. They take a bit longer because it's students trying out their skills on your hair with a teacher who comes around to check up on you. However, you can ask for a 2nd year student if you're anxious. My hairdresser was fab so no complaints here! I think I'll try out a facial there next...$45 for 65 minutes...ladies and gentlemen, I think I've found my own slice of heaven =)
