RE
So this is a proposal I did up of our Young Adult Retreat 2010.
I wanted to call it RE, and you'll see why below. It pretty much sums up what I think of my generation of Young Adults....University students and yuppies, all whom have one foot in the world and one in heaven but can't quite decide where they want to stand.
Alas, the theme "Authentic" prevailed and we will be using that instead. Still....I stand by my views on the below!
REality?
Our RElationships with God have become REmote.
We are REluctant to REadjust our lives for the urgency to take up our crosses to follow Him, REplaced with REminders of comfort, wealth, and compliance.
REconnect?
REmember the Lord our God in ALL that he has done, is doing and will do.
REclaim His promises to REstore, REbuild and REnew.
REemerge as a generation REaligned with God?s perfect will.
REarrange our lives to REflect His love in ALL we do.
Be REady, RElavant, and REly on Him who gives us strength, the author and perfector of our faith.
Our God REigns.
