One Year Already
One year of being married as of this 15th of September and moving to Cali.
Thoughts:
~ I love my husband. He drives me nuts at times and I sure as heck return the favour - but I couldn't be happier to be his wife
~ Northern California is albeit growing on me but it's not quite home either
~ I am within 3 hr drives to mountains, beaches, vineyards, metropolis - pretty decent
~ I don't cook nearly as much as I want to and food rots in my fridge more often than not
~ The Salvation Army in the West is different - still trying to wrap my thoughts around this one though - will post again
~ How long will it be until I am in disconnect with the youth and am no longer relevant as a youth pastor?
~ When will my MDiv be done?
~ Brooke Fraser is great to watch live - we saw her in a local venue for our anniversary and she sang the songs from our wedding ceremony...how fitting!
~ Andrew says we've had tonnes of visitors since I've moved here whilst having none prior- I say that is a natural correlation
~ I miss my family and hope to meet new baby neice Tiffany before she's leaving for University
~ Longing for fellowship and Bible study amongst peers...hoping this will happen soon - much praying needed
~ Fall leaves will be changing soon...my fave
~ Coffee still running through my body but not running me down anymore!
~ I think I was born to be in musicals - alas, my family never encouraged this and this talent will never be brought into the light
~ Would love to travel some more this year
~ Must get wedding thank you cards posted out to everyone...yikes
~ If Andrew and I were to start our own church, would Danny really attend?
~ If June's family visted us - would we eat all the crab in the sea?
~ Sejal needs to apply for a post-doc position at Stanford
~ Rit et Perry plus baby Nolan ~ will you take me to Taiwan with you?
~ If Lana & I flew half way to a meeting point - what country would we land in and is she up for it?
~ Why do most Americans live way beyond their means?
~ Will I get jaded from helping out our destitute if I keep meeting the people I've been meeting as of late (at our social services office)?
~ Should I stay or should I go now?
~ I miss the Paper Dasies house and the wonderful people in it - I've been nostalgic for the past two days actually
Ahhhhhh - I told Andrew this morning if I could have a Pensieve like Dumbly-dore, I would put it to good use because my thoughts keep me up at night.
