Gifts
I have another retreat set up this weekend for our Sunnyvale Youth Group. This time I'm the speaker and we're going to be focusing on spiritual gifts - why God's given them, how to figure out and develop your gifts and to start using them as God has intended.
In order to prep myself for the weekend - I've taken another spiritual gifts test. Maybe the 3 or 4th one in my lifetime. It's interesting to know that I'm still strong in leadership and pastoring. However, I've rounded out a bit and am not so much of the Hitler that I used to be. I've rounded out the leadership/pastoral stuff with administration, hospitality, faith, exhortation, music and knowledge.
However, taking this test has again shown me what I am seriously needing to do more of in my life. It has been hard since switching jobs because I've been pulled out of everything at our corps. Still praying for more opportunities to exercise and develop my gifts for God's kingdom. Hopefully through the youth dept, camps, rallies, and at my corps, I'll be able to do more.
