Summary
Coffee deprived, sleep deprived, anti-histamine deprived, but definitely not work deprived. I must say that I’m glad May is over!
Although everyone knows it is abso-tively my favourite month of the year, it was tres busy. It did have it’s fun moments though! Like painting mocha coloured walls, a reminder of my lost love….hahaha – Jude, I’m so glad you like the colour because I’m not ready to paint again just yet. A trek to Paper Dasies to schmooze with the Keil’s, Leader’s Today, Free The Children, and then some. My birthday evening spent having a rip-roaring time with Liz…sorry to have added to the procrastinating Lizzie but if you haven’t heard yet, I am the queen of procrastination (in addition to being the queen of the world...hahaha)! A breakfast feast of fresh-out-of-the-oven lemon-meringue pie with Linda, Norma and Liz – YUM! A barn dance, like none other, in the evening to work off the breakfast pie. Judging the talent show at church and realizing that I’m just as critical as Simon Cowell...sans the swearing. Buffalo blight – need I say more? My bladder is still suffering – again, sorry if this is too much information for y’all. RWR – sing-a-long in the bus, checking in at the Westin…that was a doozey…, running the 10k for only the first “K” (with “Eye of the Tiger” blaring in the background), swollen fingers and buns of steel – amazing what happens to your body when you haven’t trained properly! Add in sunburnt arms just for good measure.
And NOW…June. What will this month bring? Hopefully no June bugs, definitely a Thanksgiving turkey at Jude’s (Whhaaattt?), Kevin leaving for a month (yes!), Sejal turns 27, Lana turns…30…again, Andrew turns 25 so that I’m no longer 2 yrs older. Jays games, BBQ’s, fun in the sun…you know the usual stuff that I plan to do but don’t really get around to doing! Ah yes, and another sermon series par Kim. If I’m feeling incredibly ambitious, I may post a few. Cheers!
