| What a crazy night! The mayor had a jumbotron placed in front of city hall last night so everyone could watch game 5 for free in the plaza. I stood among 5000 people as "the beard" threw the last strike and it was a moment I won't forget! We walked along Market St back to my office and the party on the streets were pretty contagious. Big smiles and high fives all along the way. We ended up driving back to a friend's place in the Russian Hill area who has fabulous views of the city - both bridges too! Pizza, post game tv and the best view of a glowing orange city was the end to an awesome night! Can't wait for the parade on Wednesday. I'm fortunate to be working 2 city blocks from the parade route so you know where I'll be on my lunch break! |
