Sick
As I lay here browsing the web because that is the only thing I can summon by brain and body to do, I hear the repetitious coughing of a neighbour yet again.
I'm home with a sinus cold - a bad one in fact. A friend has suggested that I stop doing youth events because I inevitably get sick afterwards. Well, this time it's hit my sinuses and to me, that's worse than throwing up becuase the pain is constant and my sinuses hate me, especially during allergy season.
Anyway, the guy across from our walkway coughs ALL YEAR LONG. I have no idea why and its really disgusting to hear someone horking it up all day. I though it was just in the evening but that's because I was only ever home in the evening.
Then I begin to wonder what is wrong? Chronic smoker therefore chronic cough? TB? Some other crazy sickness that I can't make out? Can anyone help him? Has a cure been found? Or is it just that he is being lazy and won't go to the doctor?
Whatever it is, I can't say that I'm absolutely being a loving neighbour. I have half a mind to ask him to politely close his windows so that I don't have to hear if the phlegm in his throat surfaced and has been spat out or not. Is this terribly mean of me or what? Well, I'm not sure but I'm quite conscious not to blow my nose with open windows around either....I sound like a bullhorn honestly. I just thought others would show the same courtesy, that's all.
