Spring & Culture
It's time for me to enjoy the spring now! I just finished my last paper for my class on Friday and kicked off the weekend with my friends from Toronto by partaking in a girls getaway in Napa. Beautiful place, despite the rain. Love the food there and think if I ate like that all year long I'd be the size of a small car or smart car!
Planning for summer camps and whatever else God has in store for me in ministry. I have enjoyed my course, although online schooling is not for me. Gospel, church and culture has made a big difference in my life because it is imperative that we as the church be intentional about thinking about the culture that we are reaching out to. I think, especially being at an ethnic specific church I see the impact of it first hand. However, culture is everywhere, so are we thinking about all of that as we try to be agents of reconciliation to further God's kingdom? I have so many things rolling around in my head in regards to this and look forward to the discourse that I get to have with others on this pilgrimage!
