Good Day

So, I've booked a ticket to go home to Toronto. Stress is here but I feel much happier. I'm looking forward to the Christmas season and new year. We have a youth retreat coming up tomorrow and I'll be busy all weekend but it will be great to spend some time with the youth outside of church. A lot of the time I get caught behind the desk up to my eyeballs in paperwork for the corps. This weekend I get back to my roots - hanging out and having fellowship with my youth group.

I miss this to no ends as this is the majority of what we did in Toronto. I did have the luxury of a huge home in which to do this so that definitely made it easier than the small one bedroom that Andrew and I rent now! I miss cooking for them, bumming around watching movies, drinking coffee or hot choco, decorating cookies, eating leftovers, everyone passing out on one of the 10 couches in our house, playing mafia 'till the wee hours of the morning. There's something to be said about this kind of safe haven and I miss hosting it dearly.

People who always left with food in the belly - everyone but especially Judy Jang (where she puts it I'll never know)

People who rocked the video games - Joseph Ma, Peter Jang, James Kim, Jason Kim, Leena Kim (Halo!), Agnes Lee (raceaholic)
People who always had some kind of episode during their stay - Esther Yu (Turkey Toss & HORSE), Justine Yim (Horse), Elyssa Yoo (Turkey Toss)
People who did their homework with my supervision - who didn't?
People whom I love - all of you.
Glad that I'll be seeing many of you soon.
