Should I Be In Singapore?
Funny enough, I've been recieving a barrage of emails since January. At first it was wierd. Then it became annoying. Now it's just downright hilarious. Apparently there is a girl with the same name as I but she spells it with an -ley instead. Same last name too.
In January, she was accepted to a University in Singapore to do her MBA degree there. You can imagine my surprise as I got the acceptance letter. Then I thought, "Maybe I could go to Singapore in place of THIS girl and do my MBA!"
I of course forwarded the acceptance to her and let the Registrars Office know that they had contaced the wrong person. After a month, I began to recieve other emails telling me about courses, accomodations, etc. Again, this had to be recitified. Plus, what if this girl needed this info asap?
Things had died down for a while but just recently, I have had emails for invites to the Christian Fellowship Social that is being held at some uber fancy place with promises of fellowship over posh nosh. This is where I began to think it funny. This girl with almost the same name as me is in Singapore (where I'd love to visit so I can see Lana, Jo and Jayden), she's doing her MBA (which I'd love to do myself), and has joined in the Christian Fellowship at the univeristy (which I'd do too if I were there). Not that it's a super crazy coincidence - I mean, it definitely isn't far fetched or anything. However, I just thought, "Hmmmmm....I wonder what this person is like and I also wonder if I will ever meet her now that we've crossed paths though the world wide web." T'would be funny n'est pas?
