Review
Well, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth but I might as well have. I'm sure my dad has disowned me now for not calling frequently! Ok, maybe not disowned but I know he's super sad - if only he were slightly computer savvy could he read my updates.
Month in review? Super crazy and now it's the first of December...oh man I'm so tired. I'm so sorry I'm so unreachable - I'm working 9am to 9 or 10pm every day.
Andrew works 9:30am to 4:30am alot but mostly 9:30am to 12am. It's amazing that we even see each other at all. We're happy together but miss everyone terribly.
The Corps & Social Services Office (on the right) - aka - my ball and chain for the next month!
We had the Sunnyvale Grace Korean Corps Anniversary (4th) the first weekend of Nov. I was in charge of the children's program.

...this is how the children's program went.
This is what I was doing ...
...hehehe.
Ok, no it really went well and the kids had a lot of fun. I was so exhasted though.
Then we've had kettle season and kick offs and stuff. I was up to my eyeballs in background checks and other paperwork to make sure we were well on our way. Unfortunately I'm still swamped with paperwork but we're 1/3 through the season....WOOT.
I've made some friends along the way whom have become very familiar and warm faces every morning when we're all gathering for bell ringing. One man is a mech. eng and has his MBA - he's also homeless and speaks German. We have some very interesting conversations, more like witty banter. One is a man who is 70 and he has no more space on his body to tatoo anything other than all over his face (which he already actually has over his eyebrow). He's the sweetest man I've ever met and he loves his daughter so much that he'll go and bell ring in the cold for the sheer purpose of supporting her.
We spent Thanksgiving in Merced, CA - land of Chicken Poop, 2nd poorest city in CA and most run over with gangs - this I find hard to believe...ever heard of Compton? Captain Jennifer (cousin) and her husband Raymond had us and Jen's fam over. It was so great to see them, especially when I'm missing my family so much over here... their family is a piece of mine so I was happy to be with them. I'll post pictures of Kristine and Danny's baby boy Aidan soon. He's a happy, chubby and freakin' gorgeous kid - he's gonna be a heart breaker!
We went bowling with the youth and some of the parents...fathers to be exact. It seems that this group at our corps loves playing sports and any opportunity to exert their male prowess...hahaha. It's also fun to watch them trash talk (in good humour of course!). Andrew started to bowl that day without putting his fingers in the bowling ball holes, just kinda throwing the ball on a spin - he bowled the best game by far....man I hate it when he beats us when he's not even really trying!
Anyway...this is me in a nutshell for now (kinda big nutshell i know) but if you have prayer requests...send them. If you have a chance to call...please do. If you have access to the internet, please check the time difference before you call...Sejal, this means you too! jokes.
