Are You listening?
The other day I was running an errand on my lunch break, needing a break from the madness of the office environment.Bad day...woooah was it ever a bad day. Then driving back, there was this really dark cloud looming over the area where my office is...it was foreshadowing at it's best.At that moment, my mind screamed out..."SOMETHING HAS GOT TO GIVE", while looking at the sky, waiting and yearning for something...anything.
What can I say, God hears us.
It started off with one, then 3 more, and then a small flurry of little white floating snowflakes coming down from where I had been looking. And as they kept falling, my heart lightened and dare I say I even got choked up. I mean, it's not like snowflakes are going to make all my problems go away. Of course not! But it moved me to know that God hears us, he really does...we're the ones not paying attention. And being reminded and knowing He hears me is enough to get me though another day at work...which means it could get me through to hell and back!
Funny how he can turn something so dark and cruddy like the overcast and cloudy sky, and turn it into little flecks of beauty & joy.Well...at least for me it brought me joy knowing that all will be ok through Him who is forever wonderful.
"Blessed be Your name, on the road marked with suffering, though there's pain in the offering, blessed be Your name."
