One more week!

So I'm in a lot of pain at the moment (errr...women's stuff ya know?) and at the same time kinda excited that Advil should kick in sometime soon...PLEASE KICK IN SOON.

Anyhoo - other things I'm excited about:

Baby Bro Kev is coming to visit! WHOO HOO! It's going to be President's day weekend so I get to spend the long weekend with him, plus I'm taking 2 days off of work (unpaid but worth it). He'll be here for a total of 10 days, beginning Valentine's day. haha. Andrew thinks Kev's crashing that day on purpose but really, I'm the one who booked the ticket. Hey, if it'll shave $200 off the ticket, wouldn't you?

I'm leaving in 3 hrs to go to Camp Redwood Glen - AGAIN. Yes, it's been my third time up to this place since I've been in this division and this is the Divisional Camp up in the Santa Cruz mountain area. The drive there is crazy and maybe if I get a chance I'll take some pics and post them later. I'm going there this time for a Women's Ministry Retreat. To be honest, I have not gone to many conferences with anyone other than youth and youth leaders so this'll be something different. Apparently we get fed VERY well and it's like a giant laidie's slumber party - hahaha. Should be an interesting weekend. Hey, I'm just glad to get away from the office - I get to see my cousin Jennifer there and she'll be teaching an excercise class (all officers have to do something). I'll have my camera out and ready for that! My other friend Michelle Hwang will be teaching a cookie decorating class - yummers. She's moved down here from T.O. too because her hubbie got a job in San Fran. Nice eh?

School - I officially miss Tyndale Seminary and all that it holds. However, upon trying to check out the Fuller Extension site last night, I was blown away by the campus. It's just gorgeous. This site is actually a Catholic Seminary (St. Patrick's) and just walking around the grounds made me feel so minute and definitely in awe. Who says tradition is bad? The chapel itself was breathtaking and completed in Solid Oak and Marble, embellished with Gold, bronze, brass, etc. Heavy velvets and satin covers. Man - I know that you can have a heart of worship with you all day long but I'd dare anyone to walk into that chapel and not fall on their knees in worship - feeling the weight of it all.

The Winding Drive Up to the school unveils this...

The Chapel...Need I say more?
